About me

I am an experienced UKCP accredited counsellor and psychotherapist, with over 10 years experience working from the therapy centre I founded and run in Bethnal Green, East London.

I see therapy as an opportunity for deep positive change through understanding where we find ourselves, how we got to here, and working through the difficulty or confusion in a safe supported way. I don't have a set methodology but work in a very personal way depending on how you are and what you find helpful and effective. You may have already been in therapy before or have your own effective way of resourcing yourself and processing your experience.

As a psychotherapist I concentrate on listening carefully, but also find valuable the use of role-play, breath work with body awareness, cognitive challenge and discussion, art, music, and I am privileged to learn about the client's inner world in their own language.

Feel free to click on the link above to view my website. If you have any questions or would like to have an initial conversation before booking a first meeting call me on 07861584391. I will endeavour to return your enquiry within 24 hours.

All enquiries are treated in the strictest confidence.

UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Key details

Wheelchair user access
Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
