About me

I offer long and short term work through the vision of a person centered approach with a flair of psycho dynamic and existential thinking I have a natural ability in building relationships with people, this can offer a springboard for therapeutic process.

I offer a flexible, affordable and convenient service to people using telephone or video calls. This has proved a particularly useful service to people whom feel they cant leave their own homes or do not have the confidence to travel around the city.

I am a Qualified British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy registered counsellor, with a wide field of study attributed to my experience. I have worked with a wide range of life challenges including
AnxietyDepression
Trauma including PTSD
Relationships
Loss and Grief
Burn out
Stress
Narcissism
Self Harm
Eating disorders including over eating
Addiction

ADHD

I believe we are our own masters to self actualisation but sometimes because of life challenges we lose our way or need help finding what our way is. In therapy we will work towards clearing the pathway to an enriching and happy life.

I can use creative means to therapy and often have an existential thought process to compliment the person centered approach, however the process will be guided by your way of being. You will be the navigator to your own therapy whilst I will gently offer my insight about what I have observed along the way.

My diverse life experience and field of study has helped me generate a large metaphorical tool box that I can use to offer empowerment to you along your journey of self exploration.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
