About me

Nichola is a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist working within Warwickshire and the West Midlands. Her knowledge and experience enables her to work effectively with clients presenting with many different issues; offering comprehensive assessment and treatment plans. She has worked in a variety of settings, and has a special interest in addictions and also working with adolescents. Nichola works with individuals, couples and group settings. She works with adults and adolescents.

Nichola is currently setting up group therapy with families and friends of people suffering with addictions.

Nichola’s experience has proved that by offering a safe, confidential and professional environment, clients can work through and overcome their issues. Nichola has witnessed successful outcomes even with the most severe cases of abuse and trauma.

Nichola is a member of the BACP, British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and adheres to their ethical guidelines. A copy of their guidelines is available for all clients, or can be viewed on their website, www.bacp.co.uk

In compliance with their guidelines Nichola works with professional supervision, to ensure ethical and safe practice.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
