About me

Sharing difficult, challenging thoughts and feelings can be daunting, and finding a counsellor you feel able to open up to could be the first step to improving your sense of wellbeing. As an experienced counsellor, I am able to offer you a safe,  supportive and non-judgemental environment where we may explore the things that matter to you, and where you can:

  • Feel able to just be yourself; deal with anger, fears, and anxieties old and new, as well as explore conflicting or disturbing thoughts and challenging behaviours.
  • Work on healthy ways to express any issues or difficult feelings you may have.
  • Better understand your own attitudes and behaviours.
  • Explore changes you might want to make in your life.
  • Simply take time for yourself and your personal development.

Together, we can help you make sense of how you feel and in time improve your confidence so that you can not only  feel more in control  of your life, but capable of living as fully as you wish.                                                                                            As the first step, I will offer a free initial telephone or online chat so we can both ensure we can work together. I will then assess if I think I can help and you will be able to choose whether would like to continue with in therapy.                          If we decide to work together, we will agree on ground rules, such as confidentiality and in-therapy boundaries to keep both you, the client, and myself, the counsellor, safe and  aware.
