About me

Hi, I'm Natasha.  I offer Psychotherapy, Counselling and Neurofeedback and am qualified and insured.  I work with a wide range of issues and I have considerable experience working with anxiety, panic and depression, trauma, relationship issues and addiction. I am friendly, warm and relational as well as being challenging and not afraid to delve into dark places.

I’m excited to be doing further training .. in Internal Family Systems therapy.. an evidence based therapy popular in the USA and gaining ground here. This is a fascinating way of accessing the many voices or parts we each have within us: a version of inner child work. I’m currently offering slots at £25/session while I’m in training.

I am a UKCP registered integrative psychotherapist and Accredited Member of the National Counselling Society.  I also hold a Neurofeedback Practitioners Certificate. I am undergoing further training in Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS).

I chose to train as an integrative therapist to make the most of the many different overlapping approaches to therapy. This allows me to match the most appropriate support to you. I draw especially from IFS, Gestalt and phenomenology, mindfulness, attachment theory, transactional analysis and relational/dialogical approaches. I have a particular interest in how our brains work, in 'neuropsychotherapy' and the possibilities of neurofeedback. Our initial meeting will help clarify what you would like to explore or change in therapy, what approach is best for you. I offer all clients an initial 'brainwave analysis' and it is up to you to take that up or not.  I work with clients on both short term and longer term basis.

When we agree to work together, I offer weekly, full hour sessions.

My practice is centrally located in Stroud, near the library. Please note I have no disabled access, the practice is in a private home, on the ground floor with two steps up to the front door and the bathroom is a flight of stairs up. Parking is often available, or in a public carpark in the town centre.  I am less than 5 minutes to the train and bus stations.
