Natasha Wellfare MNCS (Accred.) Counsellor at The Wellness Project.
About me
My name is Natasha and I run The Wellness Project. I help people who are feeling overwhelmed and stuck to find a more vibrant way of living. I believe that if we work with you as an individual, and offer you an appropriate level of support and challenge, change is possible.
I work from a philosophical base of 'I'm OK, You're OK'. This means I consider us equally important in the process and will help you to feel comfortable in order that we can work from a place of mutual respect. My training is in Transactional Analysis - a creative, evidence-based, fast working model of psychotherapy. For more information on Transactional Analysis please visit my website. I am a fully qualified Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher and a qualified Montessori Teacher (which influences my counselling work with parents). I am also an Anxiety UK approved therapist.
I have training and experience working with clients suffering from Anxiety, Depression, Relationship Issues, Bereavement and Trauma.
My areas of special interest include:
- Anxiety, Panic Attacks and Depression
- Couples Counselling
- Men's Mental Health
- Parenting/Teens/Students
- Fertility and IVF
- Birth Trauma and Perinatal Mental Health
- Burnout, Imposter Syndrome and Career Change
- 1:1 Yoga and Mindfulness for Anxiety and Trauma
I work online via Zoom, on the telephone and offer counselling, psychotherapy and yoga therapy face to face in Essex and London.
I follow the UKATA Code of Ethics and NCS Code of Ethical Practise. Your confidentiality is completely assured.

What have clients said about working with me?
"I was nervous about starting counselling with Natasha as I had not had any before, but from the moment I met her she made me feel at ease. Natasha was warm and welcoming and I found it easier than I thought to open up and talk about my problems. I felt I was able to express my problems and worries without being judged and Natasha really helped me through a bad time. I would highly recommend her."
