About me

My name is Natasha and I run The Wellness Project.  I help people who are feeling overwhelmed and stuck to find a more vibrant way of living.  I believe that if we work with you as an individual, and offer you an appropriate level of support and challenge, change is possible.

I work from a philosophical base of 'I'm OK, You're OK'.  This means I consider us equally important in the process and will help you to feel comfortable in order that we can work from a place of mutual respect.  My core training is in Transactional Analysis - a creative, evidence-based model of psychotherapy.  For more information on Transactional Analysis, please visit my website.

I have training and experience working with clients suffering from Anxiety, Depression, Relationship Issues, Bereavement and Trauma.

My areas of specialisation include:

  • Anxiety, Panic Attacks and Depression
  • Trauma
  • Couples Counselling
  • Men's Mental Health
  • Teenagers and Young Adults
  • Fertility and IVF
  • Burnout, Imposter Syndrome and Career Change
  • Mindfulness

I have significant post qualification training in Trauma, Mindfulness, Eating Disorders and Couples Counselling.  I am also an Anxiety UK approved therapist.

I work online via Zoom, on the telephone and offer counselling and psychotherapy face to face in Essex.

I am a registered member of the BACP and adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework .  I also follow the UKATA Code of Ethics and the NCS Code of Ethical Practice.  Your confidentiality is completely assured.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information

What have clients said about working with me?

"I was nervous about starting counselling with Natasha as I had not had any before, but from the moment I met her she made me feel at ease. Natasha was warm and welcoming and I found it easier than I thought to open up and talk about my problems. I felt I was able to express my problems and worries without being judged and Natasha really helped me through a bad time. I would highly recommend her."
