About me
In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to lose sight of our mental well-being. Between work, family, and all the responsibilities that fill our lives, there’s rarely time to pause and focus on ourselves. That’s where therapy comes in—a peaceful, dedicated space where you can slow down, breathe, and take a closer look at what truly matters to you.
At my therapy practice, I offer a relaxed and comfortable environment where you can prioritise your mental health. My goal is to help you explore your inner world, enhance your self-understanding, and work collaboratively towards your personal goals. I work with an integrative approach, combining person-centred therapy with psychodynamic techniques. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and together we’ll explore your past experiences, uncover valuable insights, and work through any challenges you might be facing today.
A Little About Me and My Special Interests:
I have a deep passion for two areas of mental health: pre and postnatal well-being and neurodiversity. These topics are close to my heart, both professionally and personally, and I’m committed to offering support to those who may feel overlooked or misunderstood.
Pre & Postnatal Mental Health: Navigating the Challenges of Parenthood
Pregnancy, birth, and the transition to parenthood are full of unique challenges. Whether it’s dealing with body autonomy, managing hormonal changes, facing family pressures, or experiencing baby loss, the emotional toll can be overwhelming. Unfortunately, these issues are often compounded by barriers to accessing therapy—especially for new mums who might feel isolated, exhausted, or unsure about seeking help.
I believe therapy should be accessible and adaptable to your needs. For new mums, I offer the option to bring your baby to your therapy sessions. I understand that the desire to stay close to your baby while still receiving support is a valid need, and I’m happy to tailor sessions to work around your needs. You don’t have to choose between caring for your mental health and being there for your baby.
It’s essential to acknowledge the immense physical and emotional demands that come with pregnancy and motherhood. That’s why I’m here to provide a space where you can explore these challenges at your own pace and receive the support you deserve during this transformative time.
Neurodiversity: Understanding and Embracing Your Unique Self
As someone who was diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood, I deeply understand the complexities of neurodiversity and how it can affect one’s journey to self-discovery. Whether you're questioning whether neurodiversity applies to you, already have a diagnosis, or have loved ones who are neurodiverse, it’s incredibly helpful to talk through these experiences in an environment that fosters understanding and acceptance.
Neurodivergent individuals often face unique mental health challenges, from navigating social expectations to managing everyday tasks. In therapy, we can explore what neurodiversity means for you. Sometimes, simply having a space where your experience is respected and validated can be of great help.
My Commitment to Your Journey
Whether you are a new parent navigating the emotional waves of parenthood, exploring neurodiversity, or seeking support for any other life challenges, my therapy practice is a safe, welcoming space for you. I offer general counselling for a wide range of mental health concerns, including stress, anxiety, relationships, and more. Together, we will work to tailor our sessions to fit your unique needs and focus on what matters most to you, ensuring you receive the support and understanding you deserve.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
