I am an Integrative Counsellor based in Cheshire, offering video, telephone and face to face sessions (mobile - Covid permitting)
I have worked with many clients experiencing anxiety and depression, to reduce their symptoms and improve their quality of life. Anxiety and depression is something we experience rather than something we have, they don't have to be permanent.
We can all feel stuck from time to time. Perhaps something has been bothering you for a while and you would like some support figuring it out? Perhaps you don't really know what it is, but something just feels off? Maybe you know exactly what the issue is and you simply want someone to listen who won't judge?
Whatever has brought you here today, I am passionate about working through it together.
Training, qualifications & experience
- FdSc Counselling - Staffordshire University
- Mindfulness practitioner
- Certified online and telephone counsellor (including live chat)
- Experience working face to face, via telephone and online
As an integrative counsellor, I am trained in multiple modalities, which means I am able to use a varied number of methods to understand and work with each client on a very unique and individual basis. I am additionally trained in the practice of mindfulness, and incorporate these techniques in to my client work (if wanted). I have found this to be of huge benefit to those I have worked with.
I have experience of working with clients experiencing cancer, bereavement, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, childhood trauma, PTSD, identity issues, trauma, relationship issues, health anxiety, health issues, addiction recovery, sexual assault, abuse, homelessness and general worries.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
