I am passionate about my professional which I view as my 'calling' to support my clients/families through the sometimes difficult journey of life, enabling and empowering your life choices that work for you. I treat each of my clients as a unique person.
I work with individuals, couples, families and wider kinship.
I also offer Life Coaching and Consultancy work to organisations.
In addition, I offer workshops, training and supervision to trainees.
I am available for direct work to agencies that could involve direct clinical work, supervision (both individual and group), workshop, training etc.
I work mostly in central London - Goodge Street/Tottenham Court Road area.
My relationship with you is centred on confidentiality and safe space to explore issues. I work to the UKCP's ethical code.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a BA Hons in Development Studies/History from SOAS, MSc. in Health Education from King's College and MSc. in Systemic Psychotherapy from Tavistock & Portman NHS Trust & East London University. I have Systemic Supervision qualification from Institute of Family Therapy.
I am UKCP registered systemic/family psychotherapist for individual, couples and families. I have 25 years experience of working with people's emotional and mental health difficulties and over decades' experience since my post qualification.
I have significant experience working with women, families and children from NHS CAMHS, Children's Social Service, and Charity/community sector.
I was a founding directory of a charity I set up in Camden for Asian Women Lone Parents Association, for which I receive several nominations (Asian Women of Achievement Awards for social and humanitarian category) and awards (Millennium Award, Camden Citizen Award).
