Naomi Pearson - Graig House Counselling Services
I offer affordable, secure, nonjudgmental, confidential, telephone and online counselling and psychotherapy practice for over 18’s
Therapy is for everyone, you don’t have to have a medical diagnosis or have gone through life changing experiences. If you feel anxious, depressed or just need a person to talk to about issues in your life, therapy can help.
I work with clients from all backgrounds with a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, stress and bereavement (including pregnancy and infant loss) and with people who are having issues with attachment and relationships stemming from childhood and early adulthood experiences.
I can also offer support to those who feel grief and loss though other life changing experiences such as relationship breakdown, job loss, illness and disability.
My approach is integrative, which means I use different types of therapies and together we can work out what is the best for you. I also work with emotions felt within the body, teaching clients to notice their physical responses and encouraging them to connect their body and mind.
Online counselling is suitable for anyone who finds it difficult to travel to a counsellor, this can be for many reasons such as location, time, health issues, disability or just a busy life.
You have the choice of having sessions via telephone, video call, text, voip call or email.
For telephone counselling you just need a phone so I can call you, and for online sessions you will need a stable internet connection and a quiet, safe place where you won’t be disturbed.

PG Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (Integrative) - University of South Wales - 2015
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
Areas of counselling I deal with
It isn’t always easy to take the first steps to contacting a therapist or to know if we are suited as client and counsellor. To help you with this decision I offer a free 15 minute consultation if you have any questions about the counselling process or if you are unsure that my practice is for you.
Each session costs £40 and is 50 minutes long. This price is the same for telephone, video, VoIP, email and messaging. Reduced fees are available for students and those on a low income, please contact me to discuss this further.
Please book and pay for your first session via the online booking page on my website.
Regular sessions can be booked with me at the end of each session (payment by BACs transfer) or if you prefer you can continue to book online.
