About me
I am a couples and relationship specialist working with communication issues, affairs and betrayal and loveless relationships. I work online and in-person from my offices in Petersfield, Hampshire. I am a NCPS-approved Psychotherapist and have trained with the Gottman Couples Institute and the PACT Approach to Couples Therapy.
Things I can help with:
- Repeating cycles of conflict
- Deciding whether to separate
- Communication issues
- Lack of sex or intimacy
- Affairs and betrayals
- Dependency and addictions
- Anxiety, depression and it's impact on your relationship
- Blended families
- Navigating life transitions such as having children, grief and loss, retirement and empty-nesting
I provide couples with the tools to improve communication, deepen understanding, and work towards a stronger connection. In situations where separation is a consideration, I offer a supportive space for open and honest discussions to help couples evaluate their options and make informed decisions. My aim is to help couples navigate their specific challenges and create a positive path forward.
Choosing a Therapist
Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, and I encourage you to reach out for a preliminary conversation to determine if we are a good fit. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic environment. I offer a free 20-minute video consultation to explore working with me.
My Approach
As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet your needs as a couple (Psychodynamic, CBT, Humanistic, Transactional Analysis, and Attachment). The Gottman Approach is the world's leading research-based programme for couples and the PACT model deals with stress, regulation and neurobiology. Each course of couples therapy is unique. In our introduction call, we can discuss your needs and the suitability of my work for the challenges you want to address.
