About me
I believe seeking therapy is reaching for oneself when things don’t feel right. It’s an act of self-care and compassion and never a sign of weakness. So first of all give yourself credit for taking that step. Sometimes we may know what is causing us to feel the way we are. It may be a change in circumstances, difficulties in a relationship or relationships, loss, money worries, health issues, or any other life events that shake us off our balance. These issues can make us feel sad, depressed, anxious, angry, or confused. All these feelings can be explored and made sense of in the therapeutic space. However, sometimes we just need therapy to further enhance our personal growth and maintain a sense of wellbeing.
When you contact me I will listen and support you in your journey of gaining your balance back, making sense of those feelings, processing your thoughts, and clearing the fog you may be experiencing. I will support you on your journey of growth, awareness, and well-being. I have been part of a lot of people's journeys where they have found therapy transformative. I believe it can be for you too.
I am an integrative therapist (Qualified and registered), which means I’ve trained in a wide range of areas and draw and incorporate understanding from different modalities and interdisciplinary insights. I believe that no one size fits all and we are all our own selves. I will not try to fit you into a particular therapeutic modal. I will strive to tailor my practice to your needs and thus better support you. This is done collaboratively.
I am based in Leeds, but do countrywide work remotely offering a safe, confidential, non-judgmental space. I offer telephone and online video sessions (using Microsoft Teams or Zoom). I offer an initial 15-minute call so we can decide if we can work together. The effectiveness of the therapeutic alliance is being able to feel comfortable working with your therapist. This can be explored on the initial call with no commitment. All my sessions are 50 minutes. You can text, call, or send me an email to make the initial arrangement and I shall get in touch within 48 hours.
I work short/long term with adults 18+. I have experience in working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
