I am a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor. I provide my clients with a confidential, safe and non-judgmental environment where they are encouraged to discuss and explore their problems and any difficult feelings in depth.
Talking about problems and feelings allows people to uncover root causes of their issues, empowers people to find their own ways of coping and to make positive life changes (Mearns, Thorne et al., 2013). Perhaps you feel lost, stuck, hopeless, in pain. You may feel unable to move forward and to live your life as you want to. Using a person-centred counselling approach I will work with you to explore the roots of your suffering, to find your ways through struggles. The ways that would promote healing of your pain, that would enable you to improve your relationships and to become more confident in your abilities. I offer counselling online in English and in Russian languages.
Training, qualifications & experience
Years in Practice: < 2 Years
Memberships: COSCA - Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland.
Training: PGDIP - Post Graduate Diploma in Person Centred Counselling.
I have always had a passion for listening to people, helping them out. After graduating from Moscow University of Art and Culture, I have experienced a lot of challenging situations in my life and had to learn to cope with all the difficulties. To succeed I went to study to Robert Gordon University, and successfully graduated with a BA in Social Sciences.
For many years I worked in Social Care and was helping people in a local community. I developed a profound interest in human behaviour and factors that affect a person’s cognitive and developmental processes and learned about Person-Cantered counselling. Completing a two-year course in Counselling Skills at the University of Aberdeen enabled me to increase my self-awareness and enhanced my abilities in helping others. At present I have completed my PGDip in Person-Cantered Counselling and established my private practice.
