About me

www.morganeglaudot.com

Based in Canterbury, I am a native French speaker and fluent English speaker. I am a psychotherapist  (Member of the BACP, also working for the NHS) and an experienced psychologist who has worked in clinical settings in both England and France.

The mind can be a tricky place and understanding how it functions is not a simple task. We can easily feel overwhelmed or drowned under negative thoughts; feeling stuck in a vicious circle.
The core of my work is person-centered therapy; adapting each approach to the needs of my clients. This can also be called "integrative therapy". Having been trained in several therapeutic approaches, I can adapt them to create a tailored therapy that is matched to the client. This will be created in an environment of empathy, compassion and support.

Being french, I studied for 5 years at the University Paris-V Descartes where I became a Clinical psychologist with a specialty in psychoanalysis and talking therapy. I also have experience working in several hospitals (Bichat, Maison-Blanche, Beaujon) where I was trained by some of the best professionals in the field.

I wanted to extend my knowledge and open my mind to other types of techniques, so worked to become a Master-Practitioner in hypnosis, a practitioner in NLP Coaching, and I continued to train until I became a hypnosis teacher. I also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

I am close to completing a two-year diploma in CBT at Descartes University, and working towards accreditation with the HCPC.

I am available for different services such as :

  • Psychological support
  • Psychotherapy: using different techniques such as CBT, psychoanalysis, NLP, NVC
  • Hypnotherapy: manage stress, increase performance, quit smoking, self-confidence, get ready for exams or important events, self-esteem, pain management and much more
  • I am also available to do video appointments through Skype or FaceTime.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
