About me

www.morganeglaudot.com

Based in Canterbury, I am a native French speaker and fluent English speaker. I am a psychotherapist  (Member of the BACP, also working for the NHS) and an experienced psychologist who has worked in clinical settings in both England and France.

Our mind can be tricky and understand how it functions is not a simple thing. We can easily feel overwhelmed or drowning under negative thoughts, feeling stuck in this vicious circle.
The core of my work is to do a person-focus therapy, adapting each of them to the needs of my clients, it is called "integrative therapy". Being trained in several types of approaches, I can jungle easily with the tools, to be able to create a tailored therapy : talking therapy, psychoanalysis, CBT, ACT,  hypnosis, NLP coaching.
My work is based on empathy, compassion and support. We talk openly and safely together about what is the best for your needs and how to reach your goals.
I am also available to do video appointments through Skype or FaceTime.

Being french, I have done my studies at University Paris-V Descartes, in Paris, where I became a clinical psychologist (5y studies), with a specialty in psychoanalysis and talking therapy, years during which I have done many internships, trained in several hospitals (Bichat, Maison-Blanche, Beaujon), always by the best professionals in the field.
After that, I wanted to extend my knowledge and open my mind to other types of techniques, so I studied hypnosis and became a Master-Practitioner in hypnosis, a practitioner in NLP Coaching, and I continued my training until I became a hypnosis teacher.
Being a psychologist and psychotherapist, it is necessary to keep training all the time to be at your top capacity. That is why I decided to do another diploma in CBT (2y studies) at Descartes University and to also train in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in London with teachers of City University as well as training in motivational interviewing and solution focus therapy with CGL.
My education still continues, having access to a range trainings at my current job in Faversham Counselling Service.

I am available for different services such as :

  • Psychological support
  • Psychotherapy: using different techniques such as CBT, psychoanalysis, NLP, NVC
  • Hypnotherapy: manage stress, increase performance, quit smoking, self-confidence, get ready for exams or important events, self-esteem, pain management and much more

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
