About me

I am an integrative therapist with a person-centred foundation, offering a warm and collaborative space to explore challenges, build resilience, and cultivate rest. My approach is rooted in compassion and evidence-based practice, integrating Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Polyvagal-Informed Therapy (PVT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. (SFBT)

I work with individuals navigating stress, burnout, bereavement, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the emotional weight of high-performance roles. Whether you are facing overwhelm, relational challenges, or a desire for deeper self-understanding, therapy can provide a space to slow down, process experiences, and reconnect with what sustains you.

I believe that healing and growth begin with rest - not just physical rest, but the kind that allows for repair, emotional integration, and a renewed capacity to engage with life. Our work together will move at a pace that feels right for you, whether that means exploring deeper patterns or focusing on immediate coping strategies to help achieve your goals.

I offer both long-term therapy for those seeking deep, sustained change and shorter-term support for those needing clarity, direction and coping strategies. For clients looking for a focused space to work through a specific challenge, I provide one-off sessions at a reduced rate designed to help you get unstuck and gain insight into your next steps.

I’d love to support you on your journey. If this resonates, feel free to reach out - I offer a free initial consultation to see if we’re a good fit.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified psychotherapist with experience in both private practice and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselling. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and have additional academic foundations in theology, psychology, and education (PGCE), including a Master’s in Theology and Transformative Practice and an ongoing MSc in the Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing. My approach is rooted in both evidence-based therapeutic interventions and a deep understanding of the human experience.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
