About me

Hello reader, my name is Monique. I am an integrative counsellor who works with children, adolescents and adults. I have a lot experience dealing with a number of different issues such as: anxiety, depression, bereavement, abuse, low self esteem, negative self- image and feelings of being different to name a few.

Each person is unique and should be treated as such, particularly when entering the therapeutic space, therefore I offer a range of different methods tailored individually for my clients modality and need.

I believe my job is to ensure that your counselling journey can help you make sense of your experience and develop the tools to deal with them after the sessions have come to a close.

It is important that you have reassurance of my work, I follow the National Counselling Society codes of ethics to ensure good practice and am a member of the society.

To make sure I am the right counsellor for you, I offer a free 15 minute phone/teams consultation before committing to a first session.

Thanks for reading :-)

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a level 5 Diploma in therapeutic counselling practice and a Diploma in counselling skills and theory.

I am a school therapist as well as having my own private practice, this has enabled me to work with a number of different clients with a wide age range, online, telephone and in person sessions.
