About me
I draw from three different modalities which are Person-centred, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt. My approach to working is holistic which means I tentatively tune into the complications you bring to therapy, from a mental, emotional, and spiritual perspective. Sensitive analysis enables me to dissect the complexities that people experience and I also use a range of creative interventions in my practice such as; stone work, embodiment, worksheets and more. I'm a spiritual person with a keen interest in Tarot and I include tarot cards in my work. I believe that tarot offers people the opportunity of deep introspection, meaningful insight and heightens inner trust - how you relate to the imagery on the cards is your truth. I offer a compassionate, holding, and intuitive atmosphere.
I understand that life’s trials and tribulations can have an affect on your daily life. No matter how much you try to carry on, your problems still seem to travel with you. I quote; “we are a little bit of everywhere we’ve been” as a result, you’ve taken many forms that are untrue to your authentic self. This may present itself in the face of shame, anxiety, depression, attachment issues, self-criticism, abandonment, habitual patterns of behaviour and much more. You may be suffering with grief and loss that feels difficult to bear with each passing day. Sharing what you’re carrying can feel intense and together, we’ll carefully explore what is weighing on you from your past and your present life, with the aim to enhance your self-awareness that will empower you going forward.
There'll be times when I may challenge your perspective and ways of being in your world, not because you are wrong but rather to facilitate self-reflection that can help you to understand yourself in ways you may not have considered previously.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
