About me

I am a qualified and very experienced psychotherapist, supervisor and trainer.

I have experience of working with many issues and have worked with many clients that have complex issues. I work in an integrative style ie I use many techniques and theories from various types of counselling and psychotherapy, and work in ways that best suit you and that are creative and relational. I work in culturally appropriate ways. 

I am a trauma-informed therapist and have taught working with trauma to many counselling and psychotherapy students. I am an experienced EMDR practitioner and psychosynthesis psychotherapist.

I work with childhood issues, relationship issues, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, work issues, othering, neurodiversity and health issues as well as finding meaning and purpose in everyday life. Most things really!

Training, qualifications & experience

  • I have an Masters degree in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy and UKCP accreditation since 2014
  • I qualified as a BACP counsellor in 2011
  • I qualified in EMDR in 2017
  • I have been a qualified supervisor since 2016 
  • I have a Masters in Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes (2020)
  • I have completed many other CPD trainings and I have provided training on multiple psychotherapeutic topics as well as on a Supervision Training

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
