I have been working as a counsellor for the past ten years .
I work from a variety of counselling approaches that suit clients needs . My main approach is the person-centred approach to help clients find solutions to their own problems whilst integrating other approaches when needed with my clients .
I have worked as a counsellor in a variety of organisations like SoSad (suicide);Cuan Mhuire (alcohol addiction);Turas Counselling (drug rehab) Dundalk Counselling agency (general counselling).
I have found in my work experience as a counsellor /psychotherapist that counselling does work if the client is willing to engage in its process .
I am passionate about helping clients help themselves in order to live more fulfilled, harmonious
lives to achieve physical, mental and emotional well- being .

I am a professional counsellor .
I trained as a counsellor/psychotherapist at Oakdene Counselling Centre Dundalk Co Louth where I gained a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy .
I am an accredited counsellor with IACP-Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
My previous work has been in education.
I have a B.Ed.(Psychology;Philosophy;Religious Studies); MA (Educational Management).
