Molly Ayre Counselling
I am a BACP Accredited Person-Centred Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor and Trainer working in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire with over 20 years' experience.
HOW CAN COUNSELLING HELP ME?
Counselling offers you a safe confidential space to talk about your personal difficulties in an understanding and accepting setting and find ways to resolve these. Counselling can help you to understand yourself better and make choices which are right for you.
You can have individual counselling, in a one-to-one relationship with your Counsellor or group therapy where you will meet others to explore your experiences.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN MY FIRST SESSION?
After a free initial consultation on the 'phone or by email, we will arrange an initial session to discuss your concerns. This initial session will help you decide whether you would like to have more sessions with me. You may know what your goals are or I might be able to help you understand these more clearly. You will be able to talk about whatever you feel is causing you difficulties and I will focus on whatever these are. I work in a 'person-centred' approach to counselling which means that I believe that within a trusting relationship where you feel empathically understood and accepted unconditionally, you will be able to discover your own meanings and find solutions to your difficulties.
CONTINUING WITH COUNSELLING
During your initial session, we will discuss arrangements for on-going sessions. You may just need a few sessions or you might prefer longer-term work. I will work with you so that you can get the most out of this experience.
I have full professional indemnity insurance and work within the BACP's ethical framework for the counselling professions. I have a current enhanced DBS for my practice.
WHERE ARE SESSIONS HELD?
I see clients at the Dunton Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy. The Centre is located in a terraced cottage in a peaceful, rural environment. The centre is easily accessible by road (5 minutes from the A1). Biggleswade is 4 miles from Dunton and there is a regular bus service.
There is free parking.
