About me
Compassionate and Insightful Psychotherapy
Counselling and psychotherapy provide a space to explore your past—what has happened to you?—so you can gain clarity about your future. Through this process, you may develop a deeper understanding of yourself and how you want your life to be moving forward.
I offer psychodynamic therapy in a safe, non-judgmental space, helping you navigate change, uncertainty, and emotional challenges. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, or life transitions, we will work together to make sense of your experiences and create a path toward healing.
Therapy is an opportunity to deepen your relationship with yourself. This may involve setting healthy boundaries, exploring repeating patterns in relationships, building trust, or reconnecting with lost parts of yourself. I welcome all aspects of your experience—your fears, dreams, memories, and emotions—however complex or painful they may feel.
As our therapeutic relationship develops, we can create structure around suffering, helping it have less impact on your daily life. If you’re looking for psychodynamic therapy, trauma-informed counselling, or support with psychedelic integration, I invite you to reach out.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, a rich tradition of psychotherapeutic theory that explores the unconscious mind, resistance, and defense mechanisms. I believe that our childhood and family experiencesprofoundly shape how we navigate life as adults.
My own experience in therapy has shown me firsthand how transformative a skilled therapist can be. To ensure the highest standard of care, I attend regular supervision and place learning at the heart of my practice. I am currently undertaking an MSc in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (UKCP accredited) and regularly attend NSPA conferences, workshops, and lectures. I also follow BACP ethical guidelines in my work.
I have a deep interest in the intersection between psychotherapy and neuroscience and the evolving field of psychedelic-assisted therapy. As clinical trials move into Phase III, I am conducting qualitative research on the links between psychodynamic thought and psychedelic integration therapy.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Before our first session, we can have a conversation so you can get a sense of what I'm like and ask me any questions you might have. I will also ask you some questions to get a sense of what you would like from therapy and what brings you here at this moment. This conversation is about fifteen minutes long and is free.
After speaking, our first session will be 50 minutes long, either in-person or online. This is where the work will begin. There will be space for you to share what is going on for you in greater detail. The pace and content of sessions will be determined our shared dynamic, the reasons you have come and how long you are planning to be in therapy for. After the first session I usually suggest you reflect on how it felt.
