Miranda Weller MSc CBT - BABCP accredited Therapist and Supervisor
BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and BABCP accredited supervisor.
Hello, my name is Miranda, I use a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy approach (CBT) to help with anxiety disorders, depression and mental health problems which are causing distress.
I work in Staplehurst and serve the surrounding community, my practice is easily accessible from Headcorn, Tenterden, Frittenden, Maidstone, Marden and the Wealden villages. I am also within walking distance from the main line station in Staplehurst.
Anxiety and depression can have a big impact on your life, with therapy, I offer a safe, confidential space for you to explore issues that are perhaps causing depression, anxiety, emotional or psychological pain. Using CBT we would work together to allow you to move forward.
Please feel free to contact me if you are feeling unsure about approaching therapy and want to enquire without making a commitment.
I have a background in nursing and Masters degree in Cognitive Psychotherapy with CBT accreditation 14 years ago.
I have an Enhanced certificate form DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) and am a recognised Bupa therapist.
Additionally, I have worked with older adults who may be experiencing memory loss and impairment, this can be a very stressful time for the sufferer and for those caring for them, friends and family. My working life experience with this age group gives me a greater understanding of the difficulties and joys that older age can bring.
