About us

We are a Mental Health Organisation based in Colwyn Bay, North Wales and offer remote, in person and outdoors counselling, as well as training in Mental Health for organisations. We have been operating since 2022 and are a growing team of counsellors looking to make a positive impact in North Wales. While we are based in North Wales we can offer Counselling and Training support throughout the UK.

We believe in putting your experience first, you are a unique individual and so we treat your experiences as unique. This means we will draw on a wide variety of tools and techniques in order to tailor the support to your own needs. We have a highly trained team of therapists and trainers who specialise in a wide range of mental and emotional issues, including Psychological Trauma, Stress, Anxiety and Depression, Grief, Eating Disorders, and much more. Through our unique approach that incorporates your physical self and environment, we ensure your support means you will see long term benefits to carry you through life. Using nature, our clients can truly connect with themselves, their innermost feelings and the world around them.

Reaching out for support can be the hardest step towards your mental health, so well done for doing so. Our Counsellors are highly trained, very empathetic, understanding, non judgemental and here to support you forward to live a life you've been wanting, a life you deserve. Don't wait and struggle in silence, reaching out for support doesn't mean you're broken, it shows just how strong you are. That strength will carry you through your counselling process and the motivation to have a better life will carry you through the harder times.

By offering both in person and remote sessions, you can be flexible in your approach to therapy. We will work to your schedule and our office is always a warm, welcoming environment which is perfect place for you to process, explore and talk about your emotions, experiences and thoughts.

We are confident in our ability to make a tangible, positive difference in the lives of our clients, and we take our responsibility to work collaboratively with you very seriously. At Mind and Environment, you will always come first. We look forward to embarking on the journey to better mental health together with you. Reach out to us for more information and support, or have a look at our website.

Member organisations *

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
