About me
I am a fully accredited and experienced CBT and integrative psychotherapist with 14 years experience of working with mental health, both as a nurse and therapist. I have experience of working with anxiety, depression, alcohol, drug addictions and other debilitating conditions such as OCD and have specialised in the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder for the past 12 years.
I use a variety of therapies to suit you and work collaboratively with you at all times. I work from an evidence-based framework with emphasis on holistic treatment, and provide a safe and non-judgemental space for you to explore your problems. My aim is to help you find your own path in life which is right for you and give you the tools to grow as an individual.
I believe that a trusting relationship between client and therapist is enormously important and will work at your pace to find the solutions to your problems.

Further information
The main therapy I use is cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) which looks at how your thoughts, emotions, behaviours and physical responses all interact and affect each other. It is an evidence based therapy with good outcomes for anxiety, depression, OCD and PTSD.
I will work side by side with you to help you to understand what is causing you distress and will work collaboratively to help you to solve your problems.
