About me

I am an accredited Psychotherapist offering:
- Psychotherapy/counselling
- Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR)
- Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) to adults.
I offer online sessions, and I welcome referrals throughout the United Kingdom, and over sea's within a number of countries.
I am an integrative therapist, with the foundation of my therapeutic approach being Person-Centered. This means that creating an environment that places emphasis on and building both trust and security, without judgement, will form the basis for our work together.
My commitment to training means that I engage in continuous study. I believe that the more knowledge I have, the greater my ability to understand and support a diverse client base. I hold particular interest in the areas below:
Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse
I hold a Masters Degree in domestic violence and sexual abuse. I work sensitively with those who have experienced dysfunctional family and intimate relationships, early and/or complex trauma.
Early Trauma, Traumatic Events, Flashbacks and Post Traumatic Stress
I hold a particular interest in supporting the effects of early trauma and/or traumatic experiences, complex- Post Traumatic Stress, Post Traumatic Stress and/or flashbacks.
Bereavement, Grief and Loss
I have spent a number of years within a hospice offering psychological support to adults, children and young people who were experiencing death, dying, bereavement and loss of a loved one. Continuing to support people whom have experienced the death of a loved one, or people who have been given an end of life diagnosis remains a fundamental part of my practice.

I receive regular clinical supervision to ensure that I remain ethical in my approach and to ensure that I am able to best support those who work with me. I am DBS checked and insured.

I hold a interest in supporting those experiencing difficulty with the effects of traumatic events and/or early trauma. My support extends to supporting those from homes where they experienced the impact of narcissistic abuse, the mother would, coercion, gaslighting, neglect, lack of love, physical abuse, sexual abuse.
My intention is to support you in making sense of what has happened to you, but more importantly, to explore the impact that your past may be having on your present life, and to support you in working towards a future you may choose.

- Initial Introduction and Initial Assessment Session: £55.00 (50 Minutes)
- Individual Psychotherapy/Counselling Session: £60.00 (50 Minutes)
- EMDR Sessions for Adults: £60.00 (One Hour)
- Individual Emotional Freedom Technique Session for Adults: £60.00 (One Hour)

Payment Terms:
Payment is required in full, either by bank transfer 24 hours in advance of each session or by prior arrangement in cash during the session. Advance payment for subsequent sessions may be made.
Please be aware that it is my policy is to charge the full fee for any session that is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.

I have a Masters degree in Domestic and Sexual Abuse. This study has lead me to evaluate how we approach these important subjects, as individuals, professionals and services.
A large part of my contribution to this cause is my advocacy for improving services which are dedicated to supporting children and young people.
