Michelle Slaughter, PG Dip Counselling, MBACP
Hello, my name is Michelle. A warm welcome to my profile.
I feel to say, reaching out to a professional to talk and connect is the first courageous step of self-value and well-being. I am honoured to be alongside you, even at this initial stage, which I understand may be difficult and finding you vulnerable. For me the relationship is the key and I invite you to make contact via my email address or telephone number here to meet and explore how we might work together, without obligation. To decide how we fit and your reasons for counselling, which may be an overwhelming place of uncertainty I acknowledge, and to offer my supportive reassurance face to face with any questions you may have, going forwards about me and what I do.
I am a Person Centred Counsellor/ Psychotherapist. I offer a safe, calm space in my City centre home. It is a private space where you will not be judged, and treated in confidence. I will endeavour to be alongside and hold you with whatever you choose to bring to the sessions.I will listen to you in a way that you feel fully heard and valued, until you can hear yourself with gained clarity and confidence, and with a sense of becoming your empowered self. For you to move forwards in a comfortable way with your truth, at a pace that is your own and not directed by me.
I am inclusive with my way of practice, and I currently work with a diverse range of presenting issues and clients, of all ages. I have also experience in spiritual accompaniment and Identity, gender or otherwise.
I am flexible with hours and there are parking spaces available nearby.
