Hello, my name is Michelle. A warm welcome to my profile. Would you like me to listen and support you?
I feel to say, reaching out to a professional to talk and connect is the first courageous step of self-value and well-being. I am honoured to be alongside you, even at this initial stage, which I understand may be difficult and finding you vulnerable. For me the relationship is the key and I invite you to make contact via this website/my email address, to arrange a meeting/introductory session and explore how we might work together, without obligation. To decide how we fit and your reasons for counselling, which may be an overwhelming place of uncertainty I acknowledge, and to offer my supportive reassurance face to face with any questions you may have, going forwards about me and what I do.
I am a Person Centred Counsellor/ Psychotherapist. I offer a safe, calm space in my City centre home. It is a private space where you will not be judged, and treated in confidence. I will endeavour to be alongside and hold you with whatever you choose to bring to the sessions.I will listen to you in a way that you feel fully heard and valued, until you can hear yourself with gained clarity and confidence, and with a sense of becoming empowered. For you to move forwards in a comfortable way with your truth, and to enable you to make your own decisions at a pace that is your own and not directed by me.
I am inclusive in my way of practice, and I currently work with a diverse range of adult clients and presenting issues, including generalised anxiety disorder, anxiety, panic attacks and depression. I have also experience in spiritual accompaniment and Identity.
I am flexible with hourly sessions to suit your lifestyle and availability. There are 2 hourly parking spaces for free available nearby.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
