Michelle Moore MBACP
I am a fully qualified Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. Which means that I don't believe in a single modality or one size fits all approach to counselling. I draw together many different theoretical approaches such as CBT, Gestalt, Relational, Person Centred, Transactional Analysis and Attachment theory, as well as life experience in my work. I believe each client has a different story so I am able to tailor my approach to the individual client. I have completed trainings in therapeutic arts so I can work creatively with both children and adults. One of my special interests is working with ex boarding school pupils. I have completed a training in specialist psychotherapy with ex-boarders. I have also completed training with BEAT, in working with those in recovery from eating disorders.
I work from private practice in Norwich with clients aged 8 and above. I would aim to see clients weekly but we can discuss your needs when we have our initial session. I offer an open ended number of sessions of 50 minutes in length.
I am a registered member of the BACP.
If you wish to book an initial exploratory session with me then please do get in touch via phone or email.
