About me

If you feel like you keep ending up back at square one or are finding it hard to navigate your way out of a difficult situation, you are not alone. If you have tried and failed to make changes only to revert back to your old patterns without realising it, you may be sleep walking through life. If your past is holding you to ransom and stopping you from being the best form of yourself, counselling could be an effective way of helping you to heal the scars, alter your perspectives and find your true self.

I am a qualified and experienced counsellor and I have been working for the last 10 years mainly with males and females who have personal experiences of violence including domestic and sexual violence and childhood abuse. This involves people who are suffering reactions to trauma such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues and other mental health issues. I am also used to working with low self esteem, relationship issues, self harm and loss.

Together, we will explore your thoughts and feelings to help you make sense of what is going on in your life and what is working and what is not. I work in a holistic way which means that we will look at your past and how it affects your ability to cope and regulate your emotions in the present. We will focus on the relationship you have with yourself which can impact on your perceptions of the world and those in it. Only then we can plan what amendments can be made in order to improve your future.

I am totally non-judgmental and I can help you to discover what changes you want to make in order to alleviate your pain and feelings of helplessness. I am a great believer that a good counsellor will help to empower their client and encourage growth rather than give advice. My role is simply to travel with you on your journey whilst you are trying to navigate a pathway through your issues.

What have you got to lose? Call me for an informal chat and you can decide if you feel this step is the right one for you.

My office is based in Bromsgrove town centre with ample local parking nearby. It is also a 5 minute walk away from the bus terminal in Bromsgrove which is opposite Asda.
