About me

Hi, I'm Michelle, an Integrative therapist offering psychotherapy/counselling via Skype, WhatsApp, online and telephone.

My aim as a therapist is to build a solid therapeutic relationship, this involves building trust, maintaining confidentiality, and securing a safe space for you as an individual to feel comfortable to discuss whatever you wish, without judgement. You can move at your own pace, and discuss any feelings and experiences which may be uncomfortable to discuss with others, when you are ready.

Many people seek counselling for all sorts of reasons, from past or present events that may be affecting them, they can be left feeling alone, depressed, sad, overwhelmed or struggling to cope. Life can be challenging at times and cause us to behave in ways detrimental to our health, emotional well being and relationships. This may leave us feeling frustrated, angry, sad and vulnerable and whilst these can be testing times they can also become an opportunity for growth and self-development.

I currently offer counselling and psychotherapy via Skype and telephone (post pandemic, in the comfort of my private home). My clients needs are of the utmost importance and as an Integrative therapist, my aim is to practice in a way which will gain the best outcome for the client.

If you have questions about what to expect from our sessions, please get in touch.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
