Michelle Clements BA (Hons) Counselling and psychotherapy.(MBACP).
What I offer as an Integrative therapist
I offer counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and supportive environment, for you to explore privately at your own pace, any feelings and experiences which may be uncomfortable to discuss with others. The clients needs are of the up most importance and as an Integrative therapist my aim is to practice in a way which will gain the best outcome for the client.
Is counselling for me
Many people seek counselling for all sorts of reasons from past or present events that may be affecting them, they can be left feeling alone, depressed, overwhelmed or struggling to cope. Life can be challenging at times and cause us to behave in ways detrimental to our health, emotional well being and relationships. This may leave us feeling frustrated, angry, sad and vulnerable and whilst these can be testing times they can also become an opportunity for growth and self development.
My aim as a therapist is to build a solid therapeutic relationship, this involves building trust, maintaining confidentiality, and securing a safe space, for you as an individual to feel comfortable to discuss and explore at your own pace, whatever you wish, without judgement
I am a registered member of the B.A.C.P and bound by their code of ethics and practice according to the B.A.C.P. You can move at your own pace, and talk about things if and when you are ready. As a therapist continuing professional development is important, to keep up to date with the many changes that happen as counselling evolves. I regularly take part in CPD workshops.
