Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. Finding someone to talk to can feel overwhelming, but it's important to find a good fit. Whether you are dealing with with recent events or unresolved past experiences, I'm here to offer support.
My Experience
I am a qualified Person-Centred therapist based in South-East London, offering both in-person and online counselling services.
I have extensive experience working with a variety of issues, including;

Anxiety
Stress - including work related stress
Childhood sexual abuse
Domestic and sexual violence
My Approach
I aim to create a warm, empathic, confidential and non-judgemental environment, allowing my clients to explore their thoughts and feelings freely. My Person-centred approach means I work alongside you to understand your perspective and the challenges you face, gain self-awareness and develop effective coping strategies.
As a Person-Centred counsellor and a member of the BACP, I am committed to continual personal and professional development. I adhere to the BACP ethical framework for good practice, ensuring you receive the highest standards of care.
I provide individual therapy sessions that last 50 minutes, typically conducted weekly or fortnightly.
I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a number of years experience supporting adults who have been directly or indirectly impacted by child sexual abuse, trauma, domestic and sexual violence and coercive control.
I am a qualified Person-centred counsellor and a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy)
Certificate in clinical supervision including online and telephone working

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
