About me

I’m a registered BACP counsellor who has been helping adults and young people (12 years plus) with challenging thoughts, feelings and life events since 2015.

Whatever has made you seek counselling, at my practice you will find a warm understanding, judgement free space.

Are you seeking to make sense of an event? To challenge or manage your own thoughts or feelings, or live with the decisions or actions of those around you?

Life in the 21st century for the majority of people is complex, fast and demanding. Are you managing multiple aspects simultaneously, draining your resources and creativity?

Events and relationships either personal or professional, whether in the past or present, can impact both our physical and mental health.

Are you feeling stuck, down, anxious or just at the end of your tether?

Are you a trainee counsellor, seeking counselling as part of your course requirements?

Counselling cannot undo events or change existing outcomes, but it can enable YOU to decide how you want to think, feel or move on.

Visit my website (www.michelecranstone.co.uk) to find out more about counselling with me or, if you prefer call me direct on 07768643468.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
