I am warm and perceptive with a good sense of humour. Each client is an individual and your issues wont be the same as someone else's, therefore I make each session work for you and your individual needs and help you to think outside of the box.
I work with both couples and individuals. For couples work I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you work through issues in your relationship.
For individual therapy I am person centred trained and help you to find the answers yourself, you are the expert in yourself and I can help you to resolve problems and find answers. I also work with EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) Tapping which is tapping on pressure points to help with anxiety, fears, worry and trauma.
Training, qualifications & experience
After completing my practice hours in a GP surgery I qualified as a counsellor in July 2018. Since then I have started my own private practice.
I have am also trained as a laughter therapist and in rewind trauma therapy.
I am trained in EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) Tapping to help with issues surrounding fear, anxiety and trauma.
I am also a relationship therapist, specialising in working with couples to help them to work through any issues that arise in their relationship.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
