About me
I'm a qualified counsellor offering face-to-face sessions for adults in Central and North West London as well as online.
There’s no fixed agenda—what we focus on is entirely up to you. This is your time to feel heard and supported, without pressure or expectations. I strive to provide a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
Alongside my private practice, I’ve worked in the charity sector, supporting people through bereavement, trauma, abuse, low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety.
Whether you’re looking for open-ended therapy or short-term counselling, we can tailor the approach to what feels right for you.
I work with adults facing challenges like stress, isolation, family dynamics, self-esteem issues, workplace concerns, identity questions, and the impact of childhood experiences. I specialise in bereavement and loss.
I hold sessions in comfortable consulting rooms in Kentish Town and City of London, and have availability for online sessions via Zoom.
What's next?
I offer a brief introductory call for you to ask any initial questions you may have about getting started and to get a first sense of what it might be like working together. If at any point you feel we’re not the right fit, I’m happy to help you explore other counselling options or resources that might be a better match. It’s important that you feel comfortable working together with me, so we can create a space where you feel comfortable to explore your concerns.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Counselling (BACP-accredited) and work mainly within the person-centred approach, blending elements of psychodynamic, relational, existential, and mindfulness-based approaches.
Before starting my private practice, I gained experience working in community services, a drug and substance misuse agency, and a bereavement service. I also completed Level 1 teacher training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) at Bangor University’s Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice.
I’m bi-lingual and offer counselling in both English and German. I’m a registered member of the BACP and adhere to their ethical guidelines.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
