3 Taviton Street
Registered counsellor offering a warm, friendly and supportive counselling relationship.
I place importance on listening to you, being non-judgemental, accepting and respectful of your values and aspirations. I try to be genuine, sincere and transparent in the way I work.
By offering a place where you can feel safe to talk through your thoughts and feelings, I hope to help you to get a clearer understanding and perspective. By talking things through you can gain insight into what concerns you, have an opportunity to get supportive feedback and seek alternative perspectives, and work towards resolving problems or making changes in your life.
We can all experience difficulties, as a result of specific life events, or as a result of trying to find our own way in life. Sometimes we may not know what the problem is, but we are aware of feelings such as anxiety, anger or sadness and need to explore what is causing them.
I place importance on ensuring we feel able to speak about, and reflect on, how we are working together.
Some of the specific issues I have experience of working with include:
stress, work related stress, career
confidence, low self-esteem
bereavement and loss
alcohol and recreational substance use
