I'm an associate with Clarity Thinking and bring international experience to counselling. In this knowledge I bring a specialty to counselling of understanding adaptability and change. In the journey of life there are many changeable seasons. A certain kind of change seems to be a part of the basic nature of some, if not all things. In each journey of change, peace is linked to 'feeling heard', and in this being heard a clarity of thought is created. I learnt early in my career if you wanted to understand others you must first understand yourself. Yet understanding yourself is ever changing as learning is lifelong.
Training, qualifications & experience
One of the requirements of being a good counsellor is continued professional development. Therefore training is always on going, as if learning life long.
I studied for three years under Chrysalis Not for Profit Ltd-Accredited professional Therapy training. And awarded an advanced diploma in psychotherapeutic counselling Ad Dip PC.
I have international and intergenerational experience. I've worked with different sub cultures with in a culture. My ability to build rapport has helped me reach a number of career goals and empower others to reach theirs. Pastoral support and listening skills learnt along the way have been transferable and valued assets. All goals reached come with their challenges or set backs, within these experiences, is a developed empathy, in the journey to resilience.
