About me

I am a qualified and experienced BACP registered Counsellor, Psychotherapist, and Wellness Coach. I offer effective therapy for individuals to overcome common issues such as anxiety, depression, overwhelm, addictions, low self esteem etc. I specialise in personal development, spiritual growth and holistic living. I support people through life crisis to come into alignment with their true nature and soul purpose.

Sessions are available from a peaceful countryside location near Newmarket and also at Salus Wellness Clinic in Cambridge.

Training, qualifications & experience

Michael has a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from CCPE London.He completed his training in 2009. Over the past ten years Michael has gained a diverse range of experience with his client base. He has worked a lot with addiction recovery helping people to develop healthy self esteem and build a better life.

His background is in meditation based approaches to self awareness. He is a former monk, 500hr certified Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher, Wellness Coach and Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Fees

For Coaching, Counselling, and Psychotherapy Michael's fees are £60 per hour.

Online Skype sessions are also available for £50 per hour.
