About me
Hi, my name is Chris Beale, a Chartered Psychologist based in central London. I am committed to providing solution-focused psychological assistance in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.
I use a variety of approaches (e.g. ACT, CBT, Schema therapy...) to help you process distressing events/relationships/situations, and to identify and target unhelpful thinking styles and behaviours that lead to anxiety, stress, low confidence, depression and feelings of powerlessness. I am also able to provide EMDR for trauma/PTSD.
I work with you to reduce distress and provide skills, knowledge and confidence to support you towards a more engaged, meaningful and productive life.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have worked with, and continue to work with, a range of presentations including anxiety, depression, panic, phobias, addiction, gender/sexual identity and trauma, across a range of populations and demographics. I specialise in supporting the LGBTIQ+ community, and have a special interest in workplace stress and workplace risk factors.
Utilising my career history in professional services I am also an executive coach and workshop facilitator, providing workplace mental health workshops on topics such as resilience, diversity and inclusion, bullying and harassment, and providing skills to improve workplace relationships.
