About me

I am an experienced qualified person-centred counsellor on the BACP Register, offering individual counselling and couples counselling for adults. If there is something that is bothering you or causing you distress and you want to do something about how you feel, please contact me. It could be one of many issues - depression, anxiety, trauma, issues from childhood, bereavement or relationship issues (or other areas) and you feel that it is now the right time to seek counselling.

I can help you to explore difficult areas in your life and make sense of your feelings. I work from a perspective which recognises that everyone has the potential to grow and develop to become the best that they can. To enable this to happen I provide a secure, trusting relationship where you can discuss your concerns without the fear of being judged. You will be able to explore and work with me to bring new understanding to your situation. You will be supported through the process of change as you make sense of what has happened and decide what you can do.

Counselling supports you as you develop an understanding of your feelings and recover from difficult experiences. I will help and support you through your journey. If you have experienced trauma I can help you to overcome the unwanted memories and flashbacks. I can provide you with the time and space to explore how you think and feel about what is happening to you.

I am an accredited Rewind practitioner for people experiencing difficulties following trauma. Please ask about Rewind without extended counselling.
