Counselling sessions are usually 60 minutes on a weekly basis at a fixed time.
The number of sessions is discussed and agreed with the client based on their own individual needs. At the 6th session, progress is reviewed and a decision is made between client and counsellor as to whether further sessions are required. If a decision is made for the client to undergo further sessions, new targets are discussed and set.
I value and respect client's time and understand that it is not always possible to attend a scheduled appointment for unforeseen reasons. If this is the case, please let me know 24 hours prior to the appointment.
