Would you like to make better sense of your life? I offer support to help you develop the tools you need to find direction and create meaning. I am an experienced counsellor of seven years' standing, working with a variety of issues. We work together so you can find relief from emotional distress and build self-awareness. The counselling process is a rich opportunity to make positive changes and enjoy more freedom and personal choice. It promotes fresh insights about yourself and the people and circumstances in your life. Together we explore and access your inner resources. The outcome can improve well-being and quality of life.
Why choose me as your Counsellor?
I aim to create a safe, non-judgemental space where you can experience being truly seen and listened to. You address your concerns at your own pace. I draw on both humanistic and psychodynamic principles. I offer both short-term and open-ended counselling.
Making the first step towards counselling can feel daunting but rest assured that you will be met with a warm welcome. I work in a tranquil consulting room in the centre of Cambridge.
If after reading my profile you feel you wish to make contact please do so. I will then suggest we have a free 15-minute conversation on the phone and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have for me. I will then suggest we meet in person for an initial consultation lasting 50 minutes. This consultation gives you the opportunity to see if you feel comfortable working with me and gives me the chance to assess your wants and needs. The consultation will be charged at my usual sessional rate of £45 per 50 minute session. If after this you choose to proceed with counselling I find you a regular weekly slot.
I look forward to hearing from you.
