About me

During these uncertain times, I am aware that we might start feeling alone and scared. As a nation, I believe anxiety is high. Counselling can help with this and make us feel more connected. I am offering online therapy via Zoom. I am currently working off a waiting list.

  • Are you having problems in your personal life?
  • Does everything feel like it's getting on top of you?
  • Feeling alone and hopeless?

If you answered yes to any of these questions then counselling may be the first step to feeling like you again.

Counselling can be defined as:
The process that occurs when a client and counsellor set aside time to explore difficulties which may include the stressful or emotional feelings of the client. The act of helping the client to see things more clearly, possibly from a different view-point.

I am an experienced psychotherapeutic integrative counsellor who believes if I offer my clients the right conditions that they can grow and overcome their difficulties.

I am a BACP Registered Member based in Eltham, South East London. My counselling room is very close to Mottingham train station with fantastic links to London Bridge, Charing Cross, Waterloo.

I have an enhanced DBS check and as a member of the BACP and NCS, am bound by their ethical guidelines.

Further information

Counselling is a safe place for you to explore the parts of your life you may be having difficulty with. It is my goal to offer you the right conditions so that we can walk this road together. It is my belief that the most important part of having therapy is being able to build a trusted relationship. Once the relationship has been formed, we can navigate the parts of your life you are having difficulty with. I believe it is important to always go at your own pace.

I worked in a drugs and alcohol service and what I found was that with many of my clients, with addiction issues they had underlying trauma experiences, which then led to the addiction. This started my interest in trauma work. I now work with the parents and guardians of sexually abused children.

My specialities lie in childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, rape, sexual violence and addiction. This does not limit me to just working with these issues however as I have worked with many different presenting problems. Contact me to arrange an initial consultation to see if I would be the correct fit for you.
