Melanie Hardcastle MBACP, Bsc(Hons), MEd (Cantab)
I offer counselling services for children and young adults and have a particular interest in neuro-developmental disorders. My specialism is working with young people, having been a schools counsellor in both Primary and Secondary school settings and Outreach Services. I offer age appropriate therapy from ages 4 to 25 in relation to a wide range of issues and difficulties.
Sometimes I use creative therapies to aid the therapy process but other times, talking therapy or a solutions focused approach may help the young person move forward both emotionally and developmentally. This includes Cognitive Behaviour Techniques.
Ultimately, I aim to provide a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space for young people to share their difficulties. Enhanced DBS checked and registered member of BACP.
Please email me in the first instance or give me a call and we can take it from there to see if we are a good fit.
