About me

Melanie Carr | Pluralistic Counsellor | Therapy Your Way

Life can be challenging, and sometimes we all need a safe space to explore our thoughts and feelings. I offer warm, down-to-earth counselling tailored to your unique needs, helping you navigate life’s difficulties in a way that works for you.

As a pluralistic counsellor, I draw on different approaches to support you in a way that feels right—whether that’s talking things through, exploring practical coping strategies, or finding new perspectives. My practice is client-led, meaning we work together at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you.

I have experience working with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, and life transitions. Whether you're struggling with something specific or simply feeling lost, I provide a compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can be heard and supported.

I offer both in-person counselling in Aberdeen city centre and online sessions. If you're considering therapy and would like to see if we're a good fit, I’d love to hear from you.
