About me

Do you often feel emotionally overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck in past experiences? You don’t have to face it alone. Counselling is a journey of self-discovery, deconstruction, and rebuilding. I am here to walk alongside you, helping you reconnect with yourself and begin healing at your own pace.

I have worked with clients on a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, low self-worth, academic and work-related stress, cultural adjustment, ADHD, relationship struggles (family, romantic, marriage), childhood trauma, and identity-related concerns. I have a particular passion for supporting clients through depression, anxiety, trauma recovery, and building self-esteem and I have witnessed many meaningful transformations.

I believe that everyone has the capacity to heal and grow when given a safe and understanding space. In our work together, we will explore emotional patterns, past experiences, and the blocks that keep you stuck, so you can rediscover your direction and possibilities. The journey may be challenging, but you won’t have to face it alone.

My approach is rooted in humanistic approach and Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), while also integrating psychoanalytic insights, mindfulness techniques, and other tools tailored to your individual needs.

During my training, I worked with children aged 6 to 11 through play therapy, supporting their emotional expression and early healing. I also worked with parents to manage their own emotions and improve parent-child communication and relationships.

I hold Master’s degrees in Counselling and Psychology and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I offer online sessions in Cantonese and Mandarin, and I have experience working with LGBTQ+ clients, immigrants, and those navigating cross-cultural challenges.

My session fee is as below;
£60 per 50 minute session. £50 for students or clients with special financial circumstances

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
