I work from my office at home in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. I am located 1 mile from the Metropolitan line tube station, have off-street parking and am in easy reach from Berkhamsted, Hemel Hempstead, Amersham, Aylesbury and High Wycombe. I also offer Skype and telephone counselling for those not able to attend face to face sessions. Being aware of time constraints that some clients have I offer sessions up to 9pm Monday to Friday. Weekend sessions may be available on request.
Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified as a hypnotherapist in 2015 and have recently qualified as an accredited member of the National Counselling Society after completing an advanced diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
As well as working with adult clients I also have experience working with children in both primary & secondary school settings and have worked for the last 2 years supporting young people under 25 with a range of issues. Until recently I also volunteered with an eating disorder support charity offering support to clients across all age groups.
I am currently completing a Level 4 Certificate in Counselling Children and will be studying an MSc in Mental Health: Psychological Therapies from September 2018.
