About me

I provide a safe, comfortable space where you’re free to share what matters most, explore who you are and nurture better mental health. I’ll help you build hope, resolve your difficulties and find meaning in the things that are happening to you. And may experience positive change.

Offering you:

50-minute sessions

A choice of integrative techniques including humanistic and psychodynamic counselling, and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)

Online or telephone counselling UK-wide
Face-to-face therapy in Exeter (Covid permitting)

The work looks at how feelings and emotions may be difficult at the moment. It might be that are not happy with life and need support to change behavioural patterns to be happier.

Perhaps you give consistent support to children, a parent/guardian or an elderly relative and need a regular to share what this feels like.

There could also be someone in your life you are supporting and you would like a regular place to share how this is for you.

Previous examples of successful work has enabled clients to feel less anxiety to rearrange time and space to live differently. Other people have said that having a space to talk through being in sobriety has been helpful.

Whatever it is you would like to ask, or talk openly about why not reach out and make use of the 20 minute free consultation.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
