Training, qualifications & experience
Professional Members of the FPC work to the highest standard of practice. FPC has a Code of Ethics and Practice and a Complaints procedure which conforms to United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) requirements. All professional Members of FPC have trained and qualified at WPF Counselling & Psychotherapy (London and nationwide). WPF professional training is based on psychoanalytic principles and methods, is long and rigorous and includes personal therapy prior to and for the duration of the training.
What distinguishes FPC counsellors and psychotherapists trained at WPF is the depth and breadth of clinical experience acquired whilst working in the WPF Counselling & Psychotherapy Services. Psychodynamic Counsellor Members of FPC hold the Advanced (Graduate) Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling (WPF). The training at WPF Kensington is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and validated by the Roehampton Institute of Higher Education.

I charge £50 for each 50 minute session.
I do hold some reduced fee spaces.
The first session may last up to 1 ½ hours - this time will give us the opportunity for me to assess your needs to see whether we can work together and that we are a good match.
There is no obligation to return after this session.
During this session, or shortly after – if you would like to think about it, we can arrange a mutually convenient day and time to meet every week for short (12 week) or long term, open ended therapy.
You might not want to choose one type of therapy over the other initially but we can review after a few sessions and agree what is most suitable.
Counselling can be difficult to start with but hopefully you will find my demeanour and approach helpful and supportive.
Close to public transport. Ample free on street parking.
