About me
Do you ever feel stuck, as if something is holding you back from a fulfilling life? If you’re grappling with depression, anxiety, trauma, or stress, you’re not alone. Here, you’ll find a supportive space tailored just for you—a place to explore your feelings and discover a path forward.
I understand that reaching out can be overwhelming, and finding the right support is a journey in itself. I genuinely appreciate the steps you’ve taken to arrive here and view my profile.
It would be an honour to hear your story and work alongside you as you navigate this chapter of your life. Finding the right therapist is essential, and if you feel I might be a good fit, I invite you to reach out. Let’s take this journey together.
How I Can Help You
Opening up can be daunting, especially if it’s your first time articulating these feelings. I provide a safe, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgement or pressure. Here, you’ll find the acceptance, care and understanding you might need to simply be yourself—no masks, no pretence.
What Can Therapy Do for You?
This space helps us recognise what holds us back, what is missing, and what we truly need in our lives. It offers clarity to uncover a way forward that’s right for you.
Therapy can help you:
- Regain control over anxiety, allowing you to expand your world.
- Understand and manage depression, discovering ways to break free from its grip.
- Navigate challenging relationships to foster healthier connections and boundaries.
- Discover your inner resources to face adversity and tackle issues that feel overwhelming.
- Identify and confront aspects of your life or self that you wish to change or improve.
- Heal from the echoes of past trauma, freeing you to live more fully in the present.
But remember, it’s not just about the therapy or the therapist; it’s about you. Therapy serves as a supportive guide, providing clarity, insight, and tools to help you tap into your inner strengths. Together, we can unlock your potential and empower you to reclaim control of your life.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Getting started
If you feel as though I may be the right fit for you at the moment, I am more than happy offer an initial phone consultation which can take around 10 minutes - we can use this time to discuss expectations and ensure that we are on the same page to be able to work successfully together.
Please feel free to get in touch with me in which ever way suits you best, phone, email or text message and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
During the first session, we can explore further what you are hoping for from counselling and from your counsellor and you can share more details about the issues you wish to bring to the sessions.
I really do appreciate that it can be daunting deciding on a counsellor and then taking the next step to reach out so I try to make this process as stress free and inviting for you as possible to help alleviate some of those initial hurdles.
Please do feel free to get in touch to ask any questions or to arrange an initial appointment.
Sessions will be 50 minutes in length generally weekly but I am more than happy to accommodate your needs, as weekly sessions don't suit everybody
