About me

About Me

I have lived in and around Glastonbury my entire life. I have worked in a variety of posts over the years and mainly working with people.

Through my past experiences in life I have my own personal understanding of the counselling process. This is how I started my journey as a counsellor. I believe this can be beneficial when listening to others and their issues.

Life can be tough at times and this can present itself in many ways; depression, anxiety, anger, mood swings or just the feeling of being plain stuck in life! Whatever has happened to you, or what you are you are left with in the way of feelings, talking about it can be a positive way to move forward in your life!

In my counselling practice in Glastonbury I offer a friendly, non-judgmental, safe space for you to talk about your problems or concerns. I am here to listen and try to understand how it is for you, so you feel understood and accepted. This process of talking and explaining how you feel can help you to learn more about yourself and in turn help you develop new strategies or coping mechanisms that can help positively in relationships and everyday life in the future.

As people we are all so different. This means that we can also express our self differently. one of the other things I can offer is the opportunity to combine creative ways for you to express yourself. This could be through art or creative writing. If this is something that interests you please don't hesitate to ask me and we can talk more about how you can express yourself through creativity.
