About me

I am a United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) advanced therapist in training in gestalt psychotherapy at the Welsh Psychotherapy Partnership (WPP) and an accredited member of the National Counselling Society (NCS).

I offer low-cost therapy and counselling for adults on a long or short term basis through WPP's Affordable Therapy Service, which provides high-quality psychotherapy delivered by therapists who are in training leading to UKCP registration.

I have been working in counselling since 2011 with adults on a one-to-one basis and based at the Custard Factory in Birmingham city centre, which is within walking distance of several car parks and good public transport links.

3 years of post-graduate study completed on MSc Gestalt Psychotherapy programme, Metanoia, London (2009 - 2012)

  • Certificate in Humanistic Counselling Skills, The Gestalt Centre, London (2009)
  • Working as a counsellor since 2011 at Coping with Cancer, Leicester and at Cedar Counselling, Birmingham
  • Over 500 hours one-to-one experience in working with clients
  • Visiting speaker on MSc Health Psychology programme at Coventry University delivering workshops in Key Skills in Gestalt Counselling & Psychotherapy
  • Developmental Somatic Psychotherapy Workshop, London (2013)
  • I have also completed a workshop in 'The Living Body in Gestalt' with Julianne Appel-Opper in Birmingham. Julianne is world renowned in the field of embodied Gestalt Psychotherapy
